A: Diets are an “outside fix”—we’ll work on the inside, strengthening your connection to the body cues and the thinking that create sustainable and meaningful behavior changes.
Q: What is the intuitive eating approach?
A: IE is a process for reconnecting with your body, learning the difference between physical and emotional hunger, and understanding your relationship with food. Q: Can you eat intuitively and lose weight?
A: It looks something like this: Why do you want to lose 20 pounds? To look good in a dress; Why do you want to look good in the dress? You want to feel better about yourself; Why don't you feel good about yourself now? You don't take care of yourself; Why don't you take of yourself? You put other people first.
Q: What if I can’t stop eating?
A: What I want you to know is you are the expert when it comes to your body, you just need to reconnect with it, to relearn that you can trust your body cues to tell you when, what and how much to eat. There was a time, before you were inundated with diet messaging, that you stopped when you’d had enough.

A: As a Certified Intuitive Eating and Life Coach I help you to see the progress and the challenges that it would likely take you much longer to discern on your own. A: The majority of dieters regain their weight within 2 years—maybe it's time to reconsider how we're thinking. Switch it around: I diet over and over again, I lose weight each time, and each time I gain it back, sometimes even more. Maybe there's another way to deal with food and overeating.
